The NPC can be found 1 map south of Morroc, and is directly below the first body of water outside of the town.
The Bird Nest is a pre-requisite to the Bird Nest Hat quest.
Monsters that drop the items needed for Bird Nest
Easiest drops for Dead Branches is Enchanted Peach Tree and Elder Willow. Enchanted Peach Trees can be found in Gonryun Dungeon, and Elder Willows can be found 1 map south and 1 map east of Payon. It's a 20% drop from Enchanted Peach Tree and 5% drop from Elder Willow
Strong Branch is dropped by Wood Goblins and Stone Shooters. Wood Goblins are found in Moscovia Forest/Dungeon, and Stone Shooters can be found in Umbala Dungeon (Carpenter's Shop in the Tree). It is a 100% drop from both monsters.
Sticky Mucus is dropped by so many monsters. As for farming them, the easiest place (imo) is Orc Zombies. It will be a 100% drop, and there are many Orc Zombies willing to die for yous hat quest, just warp to Orc Dungeon, and start bashing away.
Trunk can be easily farmed on Stone Shooters located in Umbala Dungeon (Carpenter's Shop in the Tree).
For those seeking the Bird Nest Hat, you will need to complete the Bird Nest, as it is part of the ingredients needed for this quest.

Feather is easiest to farm by killing mushrooms, if this is boring, you can try killing Picky, because you will need to later on.
Feather of Birds 100% drop from Picky, they can be found in abundance south of Morroc.
Harpy Feather is 100% drop from Hill Winds and Harpies. Hill Winds are much easier to farm. They're found on Ra__fild05, which, i hope to explain with this map.
1 Map to east of the Rachel, 1 Map north, 1 map east. You should be on ra_fild09, and the northernmost warp looks like it will take you west, but it actually takes you north-east, to ra_fild05. ra_fild05 is home to about 70 Hill Winds, easy to kill, easy to mob, weak to earth property.
Egg is a 2.5% drop from Wood Goblins, which are found in Moscovia Forest/Dungeon.
